翼面荷重を計算してみる ― 2010/05/27 01:13
飛行速度の目安を知るために、翼面荷重というのを計算してみた。
- エアリアルＤＦ
- まず、主翼の面積を計算するが、こいつは主翼が平行四辺形の組み合わせなので簡単。
- 片翼の幅 37.5 cm x 翼弦 12 cm x 2 = 3.75 dm x 1.2 dm = 9 d㎡
- 全備重量 296g / 9d㎡ = 32.9 g /d㎡

- ぷちトレもどき
- こいつの主翼は単純な矩形ではないので、上記のようにPhotohopのヒストグラムの機能で白い部分のパーセンテージを求めて、そこから計算した。
- 元の長方形の面積 35.5cm x 18.2cm = 6.46 d㎡（片翼）
- 白い部分 219566 pixel / 250242 = 87.7%
- 6.46 d㎡ x 87.7% x 2 = 11.34 d㎡
- 全備重量 127g / 11.34 d㎡ = 11.2 g/d㎡
- ＲＣ実験工房のページによるとオリジナルのぷちトレーナーは12 g/d㎡となっているので、オリジナルよりやや翼面荷重が軽いようだ。
- こいつの主翼は単純な矩形ではないので、上記のようにPhotohopのヒストグラムの機能で白い部分のパーセンテージを求めて、そこから計算した。
上の２機を比べるとエアリアルは確かに飛行速度が速かったが、代わりに少々の風は関係なく飛んでいる。それに対して、ぷちトレもどきはゆっくり飛ぶ代わりに、風にすごく弱い。 まさに計算通りなのか。先人の知恵ってすごいなあ。
